01 · WHAT DADO IS
one app, four parts, 5,000 people invited to try it
02 · PRODUCTS
PRODUCT 1 · MONEY
Friends add money together for one gift.
PROBLEM
People were charged the moment they joined in, sometimes months before the gift was bought. DADO’s fee was also charged twice.
WHAT CHANGED
People promise money now, and pay only just before the gift is ordered. One payment, with a reminder first.
122

The first sketches, the five-step creation wizard and the contribution flow.

WHAT CHANGED
Now every privacy setting really works, and five data leaks were fixed.
5

PROBLEM

WHAT CHANGED
One menu, one page layout for every city, and every page checked before launch.
10
seasons live with no broken links, plus 11 city pages from one layout

06 · WHAT I CARRY FORWARD
01
Audit the data before the screens
Six privacy problems didn’t show up in Figma, but they were clear once I looked at how each screen worked.
02
The copy is the contract
When money is involved, every sentence people read is a promise we must keep.
03
Measure, don’t eyeball
We measured colours instead of guessing, and wrote down every small problem instead of hiding it.
